WOMENS CREATIVE NETWORK CONTRIBUTIONS:
We all have a point of view, diversity broadens the vista.
The nature of the world wide web is found in it’s weave. Rather than seeing the internet as a system of separate entities competing for cyberspace through the endless listings on search engines, we can see it as a synergistic process, which integrates all of us. The voice of diversity lives through our inclusion and participation in new technologies such as social networking, the blogosphere, and websites, print media, and conversation - our oldest and most viable tradition of story-telling. Long after the power goes out, we’ll be sharing our stories through talking and gesture. As we share a story, it’s meaning and emphasis changes according to the story - teller. One account of the same event is told according to perception and expressed through the lens of the writer / story - teller’s culture. Diversity of an account of the same story enables future generations to experience that moment, that learning, that wisdom, that analysis in different ways, and enriches the history of humanity. We all have a point of view, diversity broadens the vista.
